Civilink NZ delivered the civil infrastructure required to extend an existing low-voltage network to a new three-way residential distribution pillar. The project supported two new single-phase 60 amp electricity supplies and included approximately 18 metres of 100 mm PVC trenchless duct installation together with two dedicated pillar ducts.

The berm alignment was completed through a controlled drillshot, limiting the extent of open excavation. Civilink NZ also provided service locating, traffic management coordination, launch and receiving excavations, depth verification, warning protection, backfilling, reinstatement and final as-built documentation ahead of Vector's cable, pillar, service-pit and livening works.

Project Outcome

The completed civil works established a compliant underground route between the existing transformer area and the new pillar position, enabling Vector to install the distribution cable, complete the service infrastructure and commission the new residential supplies.
